3D Printed Model Car! - Volkswagen Bus
This is my take on a VW Bus model. It's not 100% accurate to any specific year. I was just going for a 1970s-ish VW Bus, and it's missing a few details that would have made it significantly more difficult to print without adding to much to the overall feel of it (like the mirrors for example). But this is something that I found to be very fun, and it turned out pretty good I think. I modeled it in Fusion 360. |

We were given two objects and asked to generate 500 thumbnail sketches based on 5 principles of design: Anomaly, Balance, Contrast, Rhythm and Texture. We then chose from each category the 10 drawings we best felt exemplified that particular principle, making a total of 50. We further narrowed the selection down to a final 5 drawings that most effectively characterized the 5 design principles.

PensOscar Ukonu is a hyperrealistic artist in Nigeria. He's a self-taught artist who has been creating these pieces with ballpoint pens since 2014. Each piece can take him almost six weeks to create using three basic techniques: hatching, crosshatching, and scribbling. He’ll switch between 10 of the same pens to create the portrait.
